Redmi note 8 pro 2021
Passes through our analysis table the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 2021, a terminal that wants to compete in the mid-range with 2019 specifications. Will this move make sense? We will find out with our in-depth review.
The keypad is well fixed, with no slack or noise. Another positive point is the weight, which remains at 190 grams. It is not a light mobile, but it is somewhat far from the more than 200 grams that we are seeing in many of its rivals.
It also misses at least 90Hz, a refresh rate that is becoming standard even in very inexpensive phones. Sharpness is fair and colorimetry is not too real, although we can calibrate it slightly in the settings. To put in context, this panel has reminded us a lot of the Xiaomi Redmi 9 (in fact, it is probably exactly the same), so the overall experience has been improvable.
As far as audio is concerned, we were pleasantly surprised. We missed a dual speaker, but the audio experience is good. The maximum volume is quite high, there is not too much distortion even at high volume ranges, there is some bass and we have headphone jack.

The river sounded and water has led to Redmi, the brand independent of Xiaomi, which has just introduced two new terminals of its Note line, almost coinciding with the Samsung Galaxy Note. Thus, of the new Redmi Note 8 and Redmi 8 Pro, the latter stands out as the first mobile to integrate a 64-megapixel sensor.
Hence it was an announcement somewhat more expected than usual, although the previous Redmi Note have been mobiles with good value for money and possibly these are still candidates for those looking for renewal if as expected they reach other markets. For the moment they have been presented in China and have confirmed many of the leaks we saw months ago.
The back maintains that brightness so fashionable and characteristic of the previous Redmi, as well as the curved edges. The fingerprint reader is also located here, seeing that the cameras are in the middle and that the reader is included in the bulge of the same, passing the fourth camera to be outside this hump.

Mediatek returns to the mid-range and does so hand in hand with Xiaomi with its Redmi Note 8 Pro. Because yes, the mid-range terminal that occupies us today has more than interesting features that we will talk about throughout its analysis, but undoubtedly its processor is one of the most controversial points, something that we will clarify in this journey in detail by the terminal.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro is a terminal that, at least in our green unit, enters through the eyes at first contact. It is a well-finished terminal, beautiful in our opinion, although quite large. It exceeds 16 centimeters high, although the thickness is quite achieved, considering the huge battery it has.
It should be noted, however, that the weight goes up to 200 grams, which makes it a heavy terminal, this figure being somewhat above most alternatives in its price range.
If they had told us that the terminal carries a Snapdragon 730G, we would have believed it. The Helio G90T is the best processor MediaTek has ever made. It performs well, does not heat up the handset, and does not suffer from the problems of past generations.

The Redmi were progressing within the Xiaomi catalog as they gained features of higher ranges. For example, just take a look at phones like the Redmi Note 10 Pro to discover how much it offers for a contained price. So, having that high starting point, the Redmi Note 11 had to raise the bar. And they have.
The display maintains the high diagonal and panel technology, at least on the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro+: both offer AMOLED technology on a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 360 Hz touch sampling. For its part, the Redmi Note 11 is the most austere: its 6.5-inch screen is LCD and at 90 Hz. In all three cases it appears cropped with a top hole for the front camera.
All three phones incorporate a wide-angle lens for the 8-megapixel secondary camera. And on the Pro models there is a third camera dedicated to capturing depth; with the same front-facing component for the trio: a 16-megapixel sensor up front, under the hole cut in the screen.
